1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Synora ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and subscribers.

2. Description of Service

Synora provides an AI-powered companion application that offers emotional support, health guidance, daily planning, voice and video communication, and wellness tracking. The Service is available through mobile applications and web browsers.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU) to use the Service

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Synora offers Free, Companion ($9.99/month), and Inner Circle ($19.99/month) plans. Paid subscriptions:

  • Are billed monthly or annually at the rates displayed at time of purchase
  • Automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • Can be cancelled at any time through the app settings
  • Refunds are available within 14 days of initial purchase

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or harmful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or compromise the Service
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
  • Use the Service to generate harmful, abusive, or misleading content
  • Share your account credentials with others

6. AI Companion Disclaimer

Important: Synora's AI companion is not a licensed medical professional, therapist, or counselor. The Service is designed for general wellness and emotional support only. Do not rely on Synora for medical diagnoses, treatment decisions, or crisis intervention. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Synora are owned by Synora Inc. and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the content you create (messages, entries, etc.) but grant us a license to process it for service delivery.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Synora Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days after deletion to allow recovery, then permanently delete it.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
